Singapore shuttlers Danny Bawa Chrisnanta and Chayut Triyachart have made the final of the Malaysia Grand Prix Gold, after beating Indonesia's Andrei Adistia and Hendra Aprida Gunawan 21-14, 26-24 on Saturday in Pasir Gudang, Johor.

They will play Malaysia's Goh V Shem and Lim Khim Wah, the second seeds, on Sunday.

Chrisnanta and Triyachart have enjoyed a stellar run in the third-tier event, having fought through the qualifying rounds and taking down top seeds Hoon Thien How and Tan Wee Kiong in their first-round match.

In the mixed doubles, top seeds Chrisnanta and Vanessa Neo fell to Indonesian pair Praveen Jordan and Debby Susanto 18-21, 21-14, 9-21 in the semi-finals.
