Lawrence Leow's priority as president of the Singapore Badminton Association (SBA) is also his biggest challenge: Recruiting more young shuttlers to join, and stay in, the national set-up.

The 59-year-old, who was elected unopposed at the SBA's annual general meeting yesterday, told The Sunday Times: "My targets are to ensure that the youth development programmes stay focused and become advanced, and to get the right support for the players in terms of technical skills and mental strengths.
