Dipna Lim-Prasad wrote her name into Singapore athletics' record books once again, this time breaking Prema Govindan's 29-year-old national 200m mark on Saturday.

She clocked 24.36sec at the Singapore U-23 Open Track and Field Championships at the Choa Chua Kang Stadium, smashing Prema's mark of 24.54.

The 22-year-old Nanyang Technological University student already holds the national 100m hurdles and 400m hurdles records.

Dipna, whose previous personal best was 24.61, said: "I still can't believe I've beaten the record - it's truly a surprise because I wasn't really training for it."
