After winning gold in the obstacle K1 canoe slalom in Singapore, she won the K1 slalom Olympic silver in 2012 and bronze in the same event four years later. She is also a 10-time world champion.

"I was 16 and felt like I'd travelled quite a lot, but there were some countries that I'd never even heard of, let alone been to," she told the Olympic website.
