SINGAPORE - She could hear air racing in to fill her lungs, then quickly rushing out. Glare from the lights at Kuala Lumpur's Stadium Negara arena meant she couldn't see everyone in the crowd, but she knew they were all watching.
This was August last year and May Ooi had just won on her One Championship debut, beating Malaysian favourite Ann Osman in the latter's own backyard. The rear naked choke ended the fight in just over three minutes.
