SINGAPORE'S table tennis men's doubles pair of Gao Ning and Li Hu assured themselves of at least winning a medal at the Incheon Asian Games on Thursday.

The duo defeat Japan's Jun Mizutani and Seiya Kishikawa 11-9, 14-12, 8-11, 11-3 in the men's doubles quarter-finals. As there are no third-placed playoffs, the duo are guaranteed of at least a bronze medal by virtue of entering the semi-finals.

They will face China's Xu Xin and Fan Zhendong in Friday's semi-finals.
