Asean Para Games: Pistol shooter Somporn lands Thais' 4th gold, bronze for S'pore's Neo

SINGAPORE - Thailand's Somporn Muangsiri extended her nation's dominance in the shooting competition at the Asean Para Games (APG) after winning the second gold of the day in the P2 10m air pistol women's SH1 competition at Safra Yishun.

Thailand have swept all four golds available at the Games thus far.

Somporn, an Asian Para Games silver medallist last year, led the event from start to finish, ahead of compatriot Maneerat Nonsang (179.4).

APG debutant Alvina Neo took home the bronze for Singapore with a 154.4-point effort.

In the R2 10m air rifle standing women's SH1, Chutima Saenlar scored a total of 204.3 to take first place ahead of Wasana Keatjaratkul (195.5).

Indonesia's Hanik Puji Hastuti finished third with 171.0.
