For four days a week, Mohammed Baseer Aleem walks five minutes from his Punggol Field home to the bus stop, where he boards bus No. 110 for a trip to the Sengkang Sports Centre for his workout.

Every Friday, his two children, aged seven and four, make the same 30-minute journey with his wife for their swimming classes.
