Singapore badminton has mapped out its intended route to the top of the world, and it will have to pass through South-east Asia in more ways than one.

In a recent interview with The Straits Times, Singapore Badminton Association (SBA) president Lawrence Leow said the governing body's ambition is to win an Olympic medal by 2028 and noted: "It is important to get the structure right. We are trying to reorganise ourselves and execute some plans.
