Having achieved her goals of competing in One Championship's mixed martial arts events and representing Singapore in jiu-jitsu, former national swimmer May Ooi has decided to retire from competitive combat sports. The 42-year-old will now focus on teaching capoeira and getting involved in sports administration.

A high-level panel tasked to probe last June's cyber attack on SingHealth outlined in a 453-page public report that many factors, such as lax cyber security practices and organisational lapses, led to the worst data breach in Singapore. The report also makes recommendations on how to boost defences.
