SINGAPORE – Seeing fellow tourists around them inconvenience or offend locals has given some young people “secondhand embarrassment”, as one of them put it. 

Seven young people out of 12 interviewed told The Straits Times that they felt ashamed, frustrated or had their mood ruined by tourists behaving badly.
