SINGAPORE - Organisations in Singapore and across the Causeway have posted creative videos to ring in Chinese New Year (CNY).

The Straits Times too has put together a short video with festive wishes for our readers.

Here's a look at a few that are making the rounds online.

They tug at your heartstrings with their beautiful tunes and messages. Happy watching!

1. THE STRAITS TIMES

Dogs swimming, running, jumping, playing and sleeping. Pawsome!

2. K-9 UNIT

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong shared on his Facebook on Friday (Feb 16) a video of dogs from the Singapore Police Force's K-9 Unit working, training and playing.

He also put out a call on Instagram, asking those who are thinking of getting a dog during this year to consider adopting a retired police or military dog.

3. SINGAPORE POLICE FORCE

Officers of different races from the Singapore Police Force Band and various departments take part in this special rendition of catchy Chinese New Year classics, showing a lighter side to the law enforcement officers.

4. SINGTEL

Protaganist Mr Lim, a lonely widower, looks forward to his Chinese New Year reunion dinner with his two children. But he is heartbroken when his plans don't pan out exactly the way he wanted it to be.

5. STARHUB

A short video with a simple but important message: Family is the greatest prosperity.

6. UBER

Food can evoke memories, ease the soul and bring people closer together. But Chinese New Year goes beyond celebrating with red packets and enjoying good food for this young female chef.

7. AIA MALAYSIA

Family members go out of their way for a special reunion dinner. Because happiness is having those you love by your side.

8. PETRONAS

The tail end of a road trip home with his father brings back childhood memories for the protagonist in this story. Love and memories take us home.
