Minister for Communications and Information Yaacob Ibrahim will be leading a four-day study trip to Japan and South Korea on Monday.

This is part of the Infocomm Media Masterplan Steering Committee's effort to learn from the latest developments in the Infocomm and Media (ICM) sectors in other countries. During the visit, Dr Yaacob will meet business leaders from leading ICM companies and officials from government agencies involved in science, information, communication and technology, as well as visit public research institutions.

He will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Communications and Information, Media Development Authority, Infocomm Development Authority, and members from the Infocomm Media Masterplan Steering Committee.
