A construction worker died on Thursday morning after falling from the Silversea condominium project in Marine Parade.
The Straits Times understands that the Bangladeshi worker was doing exterior, window-related work at Tower 1 of the property, when the scaffolding collapsed.
He then plunged 20 storeys - not 18 as earlier reported - to his death.
The Amber Road development's expected completion date is December this year. The Manpower Ministry has instructed the occupier to stop work at the accident location while investigations are ongoing.
