Feedback session on Budget

National feedback unit Reach is holding a feedback session to discuss the Budget today, chaired by Minister for Communications and Information Yaacob Ibrahim.

Participants include contributors of Malay daily Berita Harian, young people, professionals, managers, executives, technicians and business leaders.


Noble's full-year results out

Investors are bracing themselves for an ugly picture to emerge when beleaguered commodity trader Noble Group announces its fourth-quarter and full-year results today.

The company earlier warned of another round of write-downs amounting to about US$1.5 billion (S$2 billion).


CCP communique expected

The third plenary session of the 19th Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Central Committee will end today, with a communique expected. It had said it was seeking to strike a constitutional provision barring the head of state from serving more than two consecutive terms, allowing President Xi Jinping to stay in power indefinitely.
