S'pore HeritageFest details out today

Details of the annual Singapore HeritageFest, to take place from April 29 to May 15, will be announced today. Over three weekends, the festival will pay homage to Singapore's hawker fare, with a bustling hawker street reminiscent of the 1960s set up at the National Museum of Singapore. Guided trails, music performances and film screenings will also be organised to tell the stories of Pulau Ubin as well as other heritage-rich neighbourhoods such as Bedok.


Discussion on future of oil prices

The fall in oil prices has created a complex operating environment for the offshore marine sector, with companies looking at how they can reduce costs, increase efficiencies and diversify their businesses to manage ongoing volatility in the oil market.

Industry leaders will come together here today to discuss the future of oil prices at the Offshore Marine Forum, which is part of the Singapore Maritime Week.


Decisive New York primary vote

Voting in New York's Democratic and Republican primary elections today is set to be the most decisive such election in the state in decades in terms of picking the nominees for November's general election. Polls show Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump with double-digit leads heading into the New York primary. Both are hoping that strong wins on their home court will reset their races and catapult them towards the finish line.
