Heavy rain blanketed many parts of Singapore yesterday morning, with Kent Ridge recording more than 100mm of rainfall. Those out and about had to brave the storm, including these pedestrians and cyclists in Yishun. The Meteorological Service Singapore has said there may be heavier-than-average rainfall in Singapore for the June-to-August period due to the effects of La Nina and the Indian Ocean Dipole.
