A video clip of a collision between a lorry and a motorcycle on the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) has gone viral online.

The three-minute long clip, originally posted on Facebook here, shows the white lorry tailgating the motorcyclist, before side-swiping her while trying to overtake.

The clip, which appears to be taken from a windshield-mounted camera, has been shared more than 8,200 times since it was uploaded on the afternoon of Jan 19. Police told The Straits Times they received a call requesting for assistance on the PIE towards Changi Airport, near lamppost 926 at about 1.35pm on Jan 19.
