Van driver dies after collision with truck in Seletar

A 35-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident in Seletar West Link.

SINGAPORE - A 35-year-old man died after the van he was driving collided with a truck in the Seletar area on July 6.
When contacted, the police said they were alerted to an accident involving a van and a tipper truck along Seletar West Link towards Yishun Avenue 1 at about 10.05am on July 6.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force said the man was pronounced dead at the scene by one of its paramedics.
A blue tent at the site of the accident can be seen on photos circulating online, and at least two lanes are shown cordoned off.
Police investigations are ongoing.
There were 139 fatal accidents in 2024, with 142 fatalities. Of the fatalities, nine were from accidents involving vans, pickups, lorries, tipper trucks and trailers.
