Dancers from the Singapore Ballet Academy performing the snow scene from Russian composer Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker last night at ChildAid, one of Singapore's biggest charity concerts. In another segment, 10-year-old Isaiah Hui played his own composition, Joy Of Music, on the piano. Held at the Grand Theatre at Marina Bay Sands, the 11th edition of ChildAid featured 123 performers, aged seven to 19, in more than 19 acts.

ChildAid was started in 2005 by The Straits Times (ST) and The Business Times (BT). It raises funds for The ST School Pocket Money Fund and The BT Budding Artists Fund, both of which help disadvantaged children.
