Two taken to hospital after multi-vehicle accident on CTE

A 30-year-old female motorcyclist and a 42-year-old female car passenger were conscious when taken to the hospital.

SINGAPORE – Two women were taken to the hospital after an accident involving multiple vehicles on the CTE on Aug 27.
The accident occurred in the direction of AYE, near the Moulmein flyover, said the police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), which were alerted at about 11.15am.
A 30-year-old motorcyclist and a 42-year-old car passenger were conscious when taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
In a video uploaded to the SGRV Facebook page, a dark blue car is seen travelling in the second left-most lane of the road, with a motorcycle next to it.
A light-coloured car is seen coming from behind and colliding into both vehicles, with the motorcycle and its rider losing balance.
Police investigations are ongoing.
