Two Straits Times readers have each won a $65 ice cream sandwich gift bag after participating in a contest tied to an initiative by the newspaper on Pinterest.
From March 10 to 16, food editor Tan Hsueh Yun pinned photos, videos and infographics of all things coffee on The Straits Times' account at the social networking platform. She share more than 70 pins on coffee recipes, cafes, latte art and even artwork for coffee junkies on our "Curated by Tan Hsueh Yun" Pinterest board.
If you are looking for tips on making better iced coffee, or would like to know what your preferred type of coffee says about you, check out the board. Ms Tan will occasionally be adding interesting coffee-related pins to the board, so you can always get your coffee fix there.
There were over 40 entries to this contest, which required readers to look out for a pin that revealed the cool coffee joint whose mug Ms Tan was photographed holding.
Two readers who e-mailed the correct answer - Bear Pond Espresso in Shimokitazawa - were randomly picked as winners of the prizes from Ice Cream & Cookie Co.
Congratulations, Sara Yeo Su Lyn and Dionna Chew! As noted in the contest terms, your contact details have been passed to The Ice Cream & Cookie Co, which will contact you to arrange for delivery of the gift bags. Thank you to all our readers who took part in the contest.
Please feel free to follow The Straits Times' Pinterest account so you don't miss out on upcoming Pinterest themed weeks or contests. You can already find a selection of our food articles from Ms Tan, food critic Wong Ah Yoke and other writers. There are also pins on travel, fashion, the arts, as well as Singapore heritage and festivals.
