Two SIA flights delayed by aircraft problems

More than 500 passengers on two Singapore Airlines (SIA) flights - one to Bangkok and the other to Melbourne - were delayed at Changi Airport for up to about six hours yesterday because of aircraft problems.

Flight SQ972 to Bangkok eventually left at about 3.15pm after a change of aircraft, 5 hours and 40 minutes behind schedule.
