Two motorcycles involved in accident with lorry on PIE

The two motorcyclists were riding at a high speed on the Pan-Island Expressway before the accident with the lorry, on Wednesday morning (July 11).

SINGAPORE - Two motorcycles crashed into a lorry on the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) on Wednesday morning (July 11).
A video uploaded to Facebook shows the two motorcycles driving at high speed in the middle lane, with one trying to overtake the other.
Unable to slow down in time, one motorcycle crashed into the lorry, followed closely by the other.
The Straits Times understands that the two male motorcyclists, aged 19 and 32, suffered minor abrasions.
In response to queries, police said that they were alerted to an accident on the PIE in the direction of Changi Airport at 10.01 am. The two motorcyclists were conscious when taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Police investigations are ongoing.
