Self-scanning of passports soon

From next month, travellers using the land vaccinated travel lane between Singapore and Malaysia will be able to self-scan their passports at Woodlands Checkpoint, reducing physical contact with immigration officers. Glass shields will also be installed at counters.
The authorities said this will enable a safer and more seamless immigration process for travellers.
