SINGAPORE - A stretch of Upper Serangoon Road will be closed to traffic early Saturday morning (Sept 30), said the Housing and Development Board (HDB) on Monday (Sept 25).
The closure is to facilitate the launching of concrete beam for the construction of a pedestrian overhead bridge.
The 300m stretch of road between Upper Serangoon Crescent and Buangkok Drive will be closed to traffic in both directions between 1am and 5am on that day.
The HDB advised motorists travelling between Sengkang East Drive and Upper Serangoon Road in both directions to use Buangkok Drive and Hougang Avenues 8 and 10 instead.
Blinking lights, barricade and diversion signs will be put up to guide motorists.
