SINGAPORE - Train services at nine North-South Line MRT stations will end half an hour earlier than usual at 12.30am from Nov 2 to March next year, as a result of rail works.
This will take place from Sunday to Thursday nights at these stations: Admiralty, Woodlands, Marsiling, Kranji, Yew Tee, Choa Chu Kang, Bukit Gombak, Bukit Batok and Jurong East.
The last train from Marina Bay to Jurong East on Sunday to Thursday nights will leave at 11.16pm while the last train from Marina Bay to Admiralty will depart at 12.07am. The last train from Jurong East to Ang Mo Kio will leave at 11.58pm.
SMRT advises commuters who board trains after 11.15pm on the North-South line to consider alternative transport arrangements such as bus services from Nov 2. They can visit www.publictransport.sg to plan their trips.
This is the second phase of works along the SMRT rail network, involving the replacement of sleepers, or structures which hold the tracks in place. The first phase along the Ang Mo Kio to Sembawang stretch is nearly completed and stations there will resume their usual operating hours from November.
