Train service from Admiralty to Yishun disrupted for 20 minutes on Monday

SINGAPORE - Train services on the North-South Line from Admiralty to Yishun were delayed by 20 minutes on Monday afternoon.

This was due to a problem with the "third rail", which supplies power to the trains, operator SMRT said on its Facebook page.

Apologising for the inconvenience, SMRT said bus bridging services were activated between the two MRT stations, and that its engineers were on site to fix the fault.

At 3.32pm, SMRT updated in a tweet that the affected train service had resumed.
