SMRT extends train and bus service hours for Formula One race

SINGAPORE - Train and bus services run by SMRT will operate extended hours from Sept 16 to 18 for the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix.

The last trains of the North-South Line (to Jurong East and Marina Bay) and the East-West Line running through City Hall station will leave at 1.30am on Sept 16 and 1.11am on Sept 17 and 18.

The last train on the Circle Line departing from Dhoby Ghaut will be at 12.57am on Sept 16 and 12.40am on Sept 17 and 18, while that leaving from HarbourFront will be at 12.21am on Sept 16 and 12.02am on Sept 17 and 18.

The LRT train service departing from Choa Chu Kang station will be extended to 2.28am on Sept 16 and 2.07am on Sept 17 and 18.

The operating times of selected bus services will also be adjusted later to cater to passengers taking the last trains.

They include buses at Choa Chu Kang, Sembawang, Woodlands and Yishun interchanges.
