SIA inks codeshare deal with Croatia Airlines to expand its network

SINGAPORE - Singapore Airlines (SIA) has inked a codeshare deal with Croatia Airlines.

Under the agreement, SIA customers can travel under a single booking, from Singapore to either London or Copenhagen, and from there connect to a Croation Airlines flight to the Croatian capital of Zagreb.

On a reciprocal basis, Croatia Airlines will add its code on SIA flights between Singapore and London as well as on flights between Singapore and Copenhagen.

"This partnership will improve connectivity between Singapore and Croatia, which is growing in popularity as a leisure and business destination. It reflects our commitment to offer our customers seamless connections and greater flexibility when planning their travel itineraries," said SIA's senior vice-president (marketing planning), Lee Wen Fen.

Croatia Airlines' president and chief executive, Krešimir Kuèko, said: "We are glad that a company of such size and reputation has decided that our flights would be a part of its brand. We view that as another confirmation of the high level of safety and the quality of the services we offer passengers. As of now, our products are even more available on the Asian market and I'm confident that our joint flights will create a new quality of services that satisfy passengers on both continents."
