For the North-East Line, waiting time the evening peak is now 2.7 minutes, down from three minutes previously. For periods outside the morning and evening peak, the average waiting time for this line is now also five minutes - down from six in January.

"There will be further improvements in morning peak headways as new trains are delivered from 2015 to 2016," the LTA said.

Peak period waiting time on the Circle Line remains unchanged at 3.5 minutes, but off-peak interval is now no more then six minutes - down from seven before.
