SINGAPORE - There are probably insufficient stocks of electric bicycles in Singapore to meet the demand raised by the scheme to let food delivery riders trade in their e-scooters for up to $1,000 to buy e-bikes.
Because more units are likely to come in only after December, retailers said they are hoping the authorities will extend the timeline for the scheme.
