North-East Line train service resumes after brief delay

SINGAPORE - Train service on the North-East Line (NEL) resumed on Wednesday evening after a brief delay.

The service was delayed for about 25 minutes "due to power fault", the SBS Transit tweeted at 7.18pm.
In a tweet at 7.41pm, the operator said: "NEL full svc has resumed. Free passing bus rides available between Farrer Pk & Hougang stn."
In its latest tweet at 8.05pm, the operator said free bus rides had stopped. "NEL full svc has resumed. Free passing bus rides have ceased," it tweeted.
