All-electric HDT, in the red since 2014, says it is 'financially and operationally' viable

An all-electric taxi firm secured a full 10-year licence to become Singapore's latest taxi operator earlier this month, despite incurring losses for the past few years.

HDT Singapore Taxi (HDTT), which was operating on a temporary licence for the past two years, had its application for a full licence approved, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) announced last week.
