Network clocked 555,000 train-km before a delay in Q1; Circle Line the star performer

Trains appeared to be far more reliable in the first quarter of this year, with the Circle and North-South lines leading the way.

According to rail reliability data published by the Land Transport Authority (LTA), Singapore's MRT network clocked 555,000 train-km before a delay of five minutes or more occurred in the first three months of this year. This was three times the restated end-2017 figure of 182,000 train-km, which included faults linked to the resignalling project on the North-South line. Previously, LTA provided a figure of 390,000km, which excluded such faults.
