SINGAPORE - A 63-year-old man was killed in an accident involving a motorcycle, a car and a minivan near Khatib MRT station on Sunday.

The accident caused a traffic jam on Yishun Avenue 2 towards Sembawang on Sunday afternoon.

Police said they received a call informing them of the accident on Yishun Avenue 2 at 2.34pm.

The 63-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, police said.

A woman pillion rider was taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
