Footage from a 24-second YouTube clip uploaded by the Singapore Reckless Drivers community showed a close-up of how the car had been turning to the right when the bike crashed into its left side.

The motoryclist was flung off from the impact. An unidentified piece of debris - believed to be from the motorcycle - flew high up into the air and landed at least 10m away.

The Straits Times understands that the motorcyclist was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for treatment.

Police investigations are ongoing, a spokesman said.
