More time to exchange old ez-link cards for free at TransitLink ticketing offices

SINGAPORE- If your ez-link card expires this year, you now have more time to exchange it for a new one for free.

Those who have ez-link cards expiring on Dec 31 have till March 31 next year to exchange for free, new cards.

The EZ-Link company noted that many Singaporeans would be travelling during the year-end holiday and hence extended the period for free exchanges.

Those with cards expiring between January and March 31 will also be entitled to new ez-link cards for free.

EZ-Link has set aside more than a million cards for its giveaway campaign, entitled "Journey with EZ-Link", aims to thank ez-link cardholders for their support.

Ez-Link cardholders with cards expiring on or before March 31 will get the new "Colour Your Journey" ez-link card for free or they can purchase any one of 10 "Special Justice League" ez-link cards for $3, which will be deducted from the amount on their cards.

Any remaining money on old ez-link cards will be transferred to the new ones.

Ez-link card exchanges can be done at all TransitLink ticketing offices in selected train stations islandwide.

Cardholders can check when their cards expire by looking at expiry dates on their top-up receipts or ask staff at TransitLink ticket offices.

Ez-reload customers, whose auto-top-up cards expire between Jan 1 to March 31 will receive their free cards via mail before the expiry dates, while PAssion ez-link card holders and those with credit or debit cards with ez-link functions will be contacted by their respective banks and issuing organisations.
