The Joo Koon integrated transport hub will open on Nov 21.
It is the eighth such hub here, where a bus interchange and MRT station are linked with adjoining commercial developments.
The Land Transport Authority said yesterday that commuters who live or work in the Jurong and Tuas areas "can look forward to enhanced connectivity... and seamless transfers in air-conditioned comfort" when the Joo Koon facility starts operating.
To minimise inconvenience and confusion to commuters, bus operations will be implemented in three phases over a period of four weeks, starting with the first tranche on Nov 21, the second on Nov 28 and the last on Dec 12.
The Joo Koon hub will be served by eight bus services, namely 99, 182/182M, 253, 254, 255, 256, 257 and 258.
Of these, 253, 256 and 258 are new, while service 99 is extended to operate between the Clementi and Joo Koon transport hubs.
Services 192, 193, 194 and 251 will also be amended, while services 182/182M, 254, 255 and 257 will be relocated from Boon Lay to Joo Koon transport hub.
Two other integrated transport hubs are under construction.
One is in Bukit Panjang, which will be completed in 2017, while the other, in Yishun, will be up by 2019.
