Food delivery rider Muhammad Riau Alfian, 28, had just completed a delivery and was heading back to Jurong Point on Saturday morning when he spotted a commotion.

A truck, which had been involved in an accident with another vehicle, had flipped onto its side at the junction of Jalan Boon Lay and Boon Lay Way, and a stunned elderly man was trapped inside. A few people were at the scene but did not seem sure how to help the man, who was stuck in the driver's seat.
