SINGAPORE - Party revellers attending ZoukOut 2014 on Dec 12 and 13 are advised to take public transport due to limited parking on Sentosa Island, said Sentosa Leisure Group in a traffic advisory on Monday.

The event will take place from 8pm to 6am on Dec 12, and 8pm to 8am on Dec 14.

Guests can take the train or public buses to HarbourFront MRT Station and connect to the Sentosa Express monorail located on Level 3 of VivoCity (next to Food Republic). They are to alight at Beach Station. The island admission charge is $4 per person for the Sentosa Express. Guests can tap and go with their EZ-Link cards.

They may also enter via the Sentosa Boardwalk, with an island admission charge of $1 per person on weekdays and free on weekends and public holidays.

Alternatively, shuttle bus services to Beach Station will be available at the HarbourFront Bus Interchange, between 6pm and 8am. There will be an island admission charge of $2 per person for the shuttle bus service.

Party-goers are also reminded not to drink and drive, and to save costs by sharing a cab or carpooling.

There is a flat drive-in rate of $2 or $3 per car or taxi between 5pm on event days and 7am the next day. A parking charge of $1 or $2 per entry will apply between 5pm and 10pm, and additional $15 per entry between 10pm and 8am on Dec 14 at Beach Carpark. The usual parking charge applies outside of the stipulated event hours.

Visitors are advised to plan their journey to the venue and factor in ample time, in anticipation of heavy traffic during the event.
