SINGAPORE - Train delays in Singapore have become less surprising to commuters. Some groan while others write in to complain to the authorities. But some others channel their unhappiness into movie titles.
On Tuesday alone, there were two train delays, one on the East-West Line, and the other on the Circle Line.
The East-West Line had track faults at two stations that affected the evening rush hour crowd for more than an hour. They were advised to add 20 minutes to their travel time. In the morning, service between Labrador Park and Harbour Front on the Circle line was disrupted for about 15 minutes due to a signal fault.
According to Trendsmap, a site that tracks Twitter hashtags according to location, #SMRTmovies was trending on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
From "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" to "Not Fast, Not Furious," trains here became the scene for many a movie.
Here are more creative movie titles dedicated to train faults.
