SINGAPORE - Four new members have joined the Land Transport Authority's board.

The new members are: Mr Chua Chim Kang, managing editor of Chinese newspapers at the Singapore Press Holdings; Mr Ngien Hoon Ping, deputy secretary (Performance) at the Ministry of Finance; Rear Admiral (Retired) Richard Lim Cherng Yih, chairman of ST Logistics; and Mr Tan Peng Yam, chief executive of the Defence Science & Technology Agency.

They will join 10 members, who have been re-appointed for another three-year term, including board chairman Michael Lim Choo San, who is also chairman and director for Nomura Singapore.

The board members were appointed by Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew and start their positions on Sept 1.

Three members have stepped down from the board: Mr Greg Seow, director of Wheelock Properties (Singapore); Mr Loh Khum Yean, permanent secretary (Manpower) of the Manpower Ministry; and Ms Chua Lee Hoong, director of resilience policy & research at the National Security Coordination Centre.
