SINGAPORE - This first Certificate of Entitlement (COE) open bidding exercise for Jan 2015 starts at noon on Monday, the Land Transport Authority said in a statement.

The total quota for tender is 2,024, including 704 COEs in Category A, for cars up to 1,600cc and 130bhp; and 571 COEs in Category B, for cars above 1,600cc or 130bhp.

For Category E, which can be used for any vehicle type, there are 272 COEs for tender, and in Category D, for motorcycles, there will be 321 COEs.

The bidding will end at 4pm on Wednesday, Jan 7.
