Fire alarm grounded T1 lifts for more than an hour

At least 10 lifts at Changi Airport Terminal 1 were down for more than an hour yesterday morning after a fire alarm went off in a basement carpark that opened last week.

The Straits Times understands that the alarm was not heard in the passenger terminal and no initial announcements were made either.
