SINGAPORE - The Singapore Airshow will take off in February but with less buzz, as it has managed to secure only about a third of the exhibitors so far, compared with the previous edition in 2020.
While the event will be the biggest large-scale industry gathering in Singapore since the pandemic started, its wings have still been clipped by Covid-19 restrictions, with companies such as American aircraft manufacturer Gulfstream dropping out.
