SINGAPORE - Certificates of entitlement (COE) ended higher across the board at the latest tender on Wednesday.
COE for cars up to 1,600cc and 130bhp closed at a five-month high of $59,200, up from $56,001 two weeks ago. COE for cars above 1,600cc or 130bhp ended at $61,103, up from $57,501.
Open COE, which can be used for any vehicle type but ends up mainly for bigger cars, hit a four-month high of $62,109, up from $60,689.
Commercial vehicle COE climbed from $43,809 a fortnight ago to finish at $45,890. Motorcycle premium posted the biggest rebound by closing at $6,502, up from $5,912.
Industry watchers attribute the latest results to a traditional year-end spurt by motor traders to meet sales targets.
