SINGAPORE - Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices increased across the board in the latest round of bidding, which closed on Wednesday (Sept 20) at 4pm.
Category A premiums - for cars up to 1,600cc up and 130bhp - went up almost 20 per cent to $42,902.
This comes just two weeks after prices plunged 16 per cent to $36,001 during the last tender, the lowest they had been in almost seven years.
Commercial vehicles premiums also went up - about 9 per cent - from $43,002 to $46, 890.
Meanwhile, premiums for the open category, which can be used for all vehicles but often used for the purchase of bigger cars, increased marginally to $49,012, up from $48,005.
Premiums for motorcycles remained strong, increaseing 1.8 per cent to $5,501.
For cars above 1,600cc and 130bhp, premiums closed relatively flat at $49, 189.
