SINGAPORE - Between January and October, Changi Airport handled 44.58 million passengers, a 1 per cent growth over the same period last year.

Aviation experts expect this to be one of the slowest years in the last decade for Changi but despite the challenges, there are bright spots and markets that continue to grow strongly.

Here is a list of the airport's top five fastest-growing markets in the first 10 months of the year.

1. Denpasar-Bali - 21 per cent

2. New Delhi - 16 per cent

3. Penang - 15 per cent

4. Hong Kong - 13 per cent

5. Seoul - 11 per cent
