SINGAPORE - Changi Airport continued to post a steady performance in their retail business with over $2 billion registered in concession sales for 2014.
This was despite lower passenger traffic from China, a key retail market for stores at the airport, the Changi Airport Group (CAG) said on Sunday.
Similar to 2013, the airport's top customers are from China, Singapore, Indonesia, India and Australia. In 2013, Changi also posted retail sales of over $2 billion. This was a 9 per cent jump from 2012.
Passengers' favourite purchases were cosmetics and perfumes, chocolates and candies, electronic and equipment, luxury goods and liquor and tobacco.
